2022 FAQ

• Can I take my dog to the air show?
  No, dogs are not allowed on the showground.

• Can I set up a tent on the showground?
  On the day of the air show, you can set up a tent to cover for the sun, but camping is not allowed.

• Can I, as a disabled person, visit the air show too?
  Of course. We provide separate parking close to the entrance of the showground, just follow the road signs. Show your disability card and access will be granted. On the property, there will be accessible toilets for wheelchair users.

• Can I park my motorcycle?
  Yes, there is a separate parking space for motorcycles. Just follow the road signs. The parking space is within walking distance of the show ground. You can also hop onto a shuttle bus that goes to the local railway station.

• Can I park my bicycle somewhere?
  Yes, we have planned a parking for bicycles at the Kamperbaan within walking distance of the showground.

• How much do I pay for parking?
  For the 2022 edition, we will ask €10,00 for parking. Parking vouchers can be purchased at the same time as entry tickets. From the parkings, we will organize a shuttlebus service to the airfield. There are 3 external parkings during this edition of the airshow. In the ticketshop, you are allocated a parking on the basis of your departure address, to ensure you get the parking that is most easily accessible for you.
  Tickets for our special packages (Friends of Sanicole, Business and VIP) have a separate dedicated parking and they therefore do not have to purchase an additional parking ticket.
  
• Which GPS coordinates to enter in my GPS-device ?
  We recommend to use WAZE (navigition app). Within WAZE, you will find your parking by using the search function in WAZE with parameter ‘Sanicole Airshow 2021’ and the required parking as given on your ticket.
  

• Where can I buy a ticket?
  You can buy a ticket in presale via this website. Would you like to order a special ticket such as a VIP package or a Business ticket? Then you can only do so in advance.
  You can also buy general admission tickets on Saturday or Sunday at the onsite ticket office, unless they are sold out in advance.

• How much does a presale ticket cost?

• How much does a ticket cost at the entrance booth?
  General admission tickets can bought at the box office on the day of the event, unless they are sold out in advance.
  • For adults: € 40
  • For children from 8 to 14 years of age: € 15
  • Children younger than 8 years go free

• From which types of tickets can I choose?
  We offer the following tickets.
  • General Admission ticket
    • for the Sunset Airshow on the Saturday (presale or at the ticket booth)
    • for the air show on the Sunday (presale or at the ticket booth)
  • Combi ticket  for both days
  • VIP package (presale only)
  • Business package (presale only)
  • ‘Friends of Sanicole’ ticket  (presale only)

• I do not have the possibility to purchase my ticket online or to pay by credit card. Is there any other way to buy tickets?
  Yes, all types of tickets are for sale at the clubhouse of our flying club during office hours (Kamperbaan 165, 3940 Hechtel-Eksel).
  
• Can I cancel my tickets as a consequence of the Covid Safe Ticket measures?
  Currently, there are no restrictions imposed by the authorities due to covid-19.It is possible this may change prior to our airshow. In this case, tickets cannot be cancelled.
  
• Are cashmachines available on the showground?
  No, there won’t be any cashmachines on the showground, but you can purchase food and drink vouchers electronically.
  For souvenir stands, it is safest to bring some cash as electronic payment may not be possible with them.
  
• Can I buy food vouchers online?
  Catering vouchers can be purchased online in advance. By doing so, you can not only save money, but also time by avoiding the queues on the day of the event.

• From what time is the showground accessible?
  On Saturday, the show ground opens at 15:00 (parkings open at 14:00) with the last possible entry at 7PM. On Sunday the event area opens at 08.00 AM (car parks open at 8.00 AM). The last possible entrance to the event on Sunday will be at 4.00PM.

• At what time do the air shows start?
  The Sunset Airshow on Saturday 10 September starts at 5.00 PM.
  The Sanicole Airshow on Sunday 11 September starts at 10.00 AM.

• Does the organization provide earplugs for children?
  Yes, Earplugs are provided for children by the organization and the will also be a stand of CM on site where these can be found.

• Does the organization make wristbands (on which parents can put their contact details) available for children
  Yes, The organization provides wristbands for children.

• Is there any air traffic during the weekend of the Sanicole Airshow?
  No, between 5 and 14 September, the airfield will be closed to air traffic.

• What can be seen at the Sanicole Airshow?
  Take a look online for the list of participants:
  • for the sunset show on the Saturday
  • for the air show on the Sunday
    
    The detailed time schedule will only be finalised on the morning of the air show itself. At the event, you can buy a souvenir program.

• Which are the GPS coordinates I should enter?
  Please use the address of your parking and preferably, rely on the Waze app, where these will be pre-programmed. Under no circumstance should you use the general address of the airfield!

• Can I bring a backpack or bag to the showground?
  Yes, small backpacks or bags are allowed. However, as soon as you enter the showground, there is a mandatory safety check. You will be asked to open your backpack or bag.

• Can I use my drone on the showground?
  No. Due to safety reasons drones are prohibited on the showground.

• Will there be a livestream of the International Sanicole Airshow?
  No, the only way to experience the thrills and action will be to attend the airshow in Hechtel-Eksel. Livestreaming from the event is prohibited. Please make sure to not fall for any of the scams claiming to offer a livestream and avoid clicking on links making such claims. Also never share personal details on such sites.
