Performing for the … time at Sanicole already, the popularity of Formation Team The Victors remains intact. This team, which is part of Vliegclub Ursel in the Meetjesland region, regularly participates in airshows abroad, where they proudly draw the Belgian flag in the sky. Their tight formations are all the more remarkable because they fly Piper PA-28 sport aircraft, which are really unsuitable for this kind of demonstration due to their limited power, which means that the team members have to work extra hard to make everything look elegant.
In addition, we also welcome Luc Hellings who will present his beautiful Lockheed Electra Junior for the first time in flight over Sanicole. This historic 6-seat passenger and business aircraft dates back to the 1930s. It was revolutionary for the time due to its all-metal construction. It was also used to test new technologies and thus played an important role in aviation history. Pay special attention to the characteristic sweet sound of the Pratt&Whitney engines!
