Heritage flight
Aside from the unforgettable debut of the USAF F-35 solo display team in Belgium, the USAF Heritage Flight will also make its Belgian debut and join the F-35 with a Mustang for a series of formation passes bringing past and future together gracefully in the sky over Sanicole, a fitting top of the bill! Each year, the USAF demoteams and a few select warbird pilots come together for intense training sessions to perfect these memorable performances.
Flying the Mustang is Tommy Williams, a former pilot with the USAF with ample experience on F-5, F-4, F-15 and F-16 and he later also flew as captain with Delta airlines. Recently he retired as a Major-General where he worked for the Director of Operations at the USAF headquarters at the Pentagon.
Both the USAF F-35 solo display team and Heritage Flight will also help us celebrate the 75th anniversary of the United States Air Force, longtime friends and partners of the International Sanicole Airshow. More than ever before Sanicole will be honoring the past and celebrate the future.
