13 & 14 SEPTEMBER 2025 - Sanicole Airfield (Hechtel-Eksel)

Aerobatic team Czech Flying Bulls

Following in a long tradition of renowned civilian aerobatic teams giving it their all over Sanicole and strengthening our strong relationship with the Czech Republic, we are proud to present one of the most prestigious and best-known civilian teams in the world this year: the Czech Flying Bulls.

This team has a rich history of its own, tracing its roots to the Unimax Devils and Skybox team which later became the Czech Flying Bulls in 2001 as ambassadors of the Austrian energy drink manufacturer in Central Europe. Since 2015, the Czech Flying Bulls replaced their classic Zlin 50 aerobatics aircraft for the far more capable and agile Sbach XA-42 and new pilots joined this legendary team, led by Czech Gripen pilot Stanislav Cejka. Year on year, they have been refining their spectacle on their four high-class aerobatics mounts. The specialty of the team is extended flight with negative G and fully aerobatic mirror-flights in close formation. Recently, they performed a negative looping with their four-ship formation passing underneath the Mala Rijeka Viaduct in Montenegro, adding to the impressive list of exciting Red Bull-sponsored extreme flights that went viral on social media.

Their display is very tight so the aircraft never disappear out of sight. The maximum altitude during the display is actually lower than the height of the Burj Khaliffa, the tallest building in the world. The pilots undergo forces ranging from negative 5 times to 7 times the force of gravity during their heart-pumping routine and they reach speeds up to 415 kph. They perform their show over 100 times per year but this is the first time they will show their skills in Belgium.

Their gorgeous Sbach XA-42 aircraft first flew in 2008 so it is quite a new aircraft, performing in the same league as the more numerous Extra330SC. Both aircraft types are built and designed in Germany and are the result of experience of German aerobatics pilots, pushing the envelope ever further with exciting new manoeuvres.

Don’t miss this Belgian debut by what many consider to be the most exciting civilian aerobatic team in the world and join us at the International Sanicole Airshow at Hechtel-Eksel during the weekend of 13 & 14 September 2025.
