Polish Bo-105 helicopter display
Helicopters are always popular acts to close the Sanicole Sunset Airshow and 2025 guarantees to be no exception thanks to a former military gunship turned pyro-platform: the Polish Bo-105, in Belgium for the first time.
Experience the unparalleled thrill of the Polish Bo-105 helicopter display, masterfully piloted by the seasoned aviator, Maciej Dominiak. With over 1,000 flight hours in helicopters and more than 300 in airplanes, Maciej brings a wealth of experience to the skies.
The Bölkow Bo-105, renowned for its exceptional agility and aerobatic capabilities, becomes a spectacle of precision and excitement under Maciej's command. Originally serving in the German army, this helicopter was demilitarized in 2016 and subsequently brought to Poland, where it continues to captivate audiences with its dynamic performances. It may not have the extra strengthened fuselage and rotor system of the Red Bull Bo-105, but you'll quickly notice that even in its original form, the Bo-105 is a natural airshow performer.
At other fireworks events around Europe, Maciej and the Bo-105 team showcase the helicopter's remarkable maneuverability, with loads of stunning fireworks enhancing their displays to light up the dark evening sky.
Don't miss the opportunity to witness this extraordinary aerial performance, where engineering excellence meets pilot expertise, delivering an unforgettable experience for all aviation enthusiasts over the Sanicole airfield on 13 & 14 September.
