Vintage Aerobatics

Stijn De Jaeghere is an experienced unlimited aerobatics pilot who loves nothing more than sharing his passion for aviation with the audience. In the past, we already saw him in action with an Extra 330, but this year he is coming with something completely different: a vintage World War 2 T-6 Texan training aircraft, and not just any T-6! In 2011, this aircraft won the award for best restoration project at Oshkosh in the USA, the biggest airshow in the world. After spending a few years in the UK, this aircraft arrived in Belgium in 2020 and is now part of Stijn’s collection at Wevelgem thanks to sponsor Safety Jogger.

With its powerful smoke system, the audience can watch the graceful aerobatics in the sky, but it gets even better! If you are interested and adventurous, you can even go for a flight with this aircraft and experience the thrill yourself in the week leading up to the International Sanicole Airshow and watch the show grow from above. This unique experience will surely make you appreciate the airshow action over Sanicole even more.

Don’t miss this golden opportunity to fly along with this historic aircraft, or watch its capabilities during the show.
