Patrouille de France
The ambassadors of the French air force and France as a whole, the Patrouille de France is the French national display team, perhaps best known for opening the military parade on 14 July drawing the French national colours over Paris.
The team represents the French air force and more generally the French aviation industry worldwide.
Earlier this year for instance, they went on a tour in the United States. They fly 8 Alpha Jets advanced jet trainers, the same jet trainer that is also used by the Belgian air force.
The team is based at the airbase Salon-de-Provence in the south of France. Their display consists of an aerial ballet with 8 aircraft during the first half, and spectacular opposition maneuvers and breathtaking close-formation aerobatics in smaller groups during the second part of the display.
We are proud the Patrouille de France will be joining us at the 40th anniversary International Sanicole Airshow on Sunday with their world-class display.
