12 & 13 SEPTEMBER 2026 - Sanicole Airfield (Hechtel-Eksel)

AS-365N3+ Dauphin

Lithuania

For the very first time, the International Sanicole Airshow is proud to welcome the Lithuanian Air Force to Hechtel-Eksel with a spectacular debut appearance in the static display: the impressive AS365 N3+ Dauphin helicopter.

A true icon of rotary aviation, the AS365 Dauphin is a twin-engine, medium-weight multi-role helicopter renowned for its versatility, speed, and reliability. Since its maiden flight in 1975, the Dauphin has continuously evolved through upgrades, securing its place among the world’s leading civilian and military helicopters. Originally developed by the French aerospace pioneer Aérospatiale, the aircraft later became part of Eurocopter and today proudly carries the Airbus Helicopters name.

The Lithuanian Air Force has operated the latest and most advanced Dauphin variant since 2015. Their fleet of three helicopters performs vital Search and Rescue and utility missions from bases at Nemirseta, Kaunas-Aleksotas, and Šiauliai-Zokniai, standing ready to respond whenever duty calls.

This rare appearance offers visitors a unique opportunity to get up close to one of Europe’s modern military helicopters and discover a debuting air arm at Sanicole. Aviation fans, photographers, and families alike will not want to miss this exciting addition to the 2026 line-up on 12 & 13 September in Hechtel-Eksel, Limburg, Belgium.
