Florent Oddon - Raven 2XS
What do you get when a two-time world champion straps 260 horsepower to one of aerobatics’ most legendary designs? Pure adrenaline in the sky. At the International Sanicole Airshow 2026, Belgium will witness a first: Florent Oddon unleashes his stunning Raven 2XS in a jaw-dropping solo display above the Sanicole airfield.
Florent Oddon is no stranger to the edge of the envelope. Twice crowned and still reigning World Champion in Unlimited Aerobatics, he has already thrilled Sanicole crowds, this time, however, it’s just one pilot, one aircraft, and no limits.
Away from the spotlight, another dream was taking shape. In his spare time, Oddon built his own machine: the Raven 2XS, a Canadian kit aircraft inspired by the legendary Pitts Special S-2C. Compact, muscular, and brutally agile, it features a tandem cockpit and a thunderous Lycoming engine. Its welded steel frame, aluminium and wood construction, fabric-covered wings, and striking colour scheme make it as beautiful on the ground as it is ferocious in the air.
Expect aggressive lines, razor-sharp precision, and a ballet of loops, rolls, and spins that will leave you breathless at the Sanicole Airfield in Hechtel-Eksel, Belgium, during the weekend of September 12 & 13, 2026.
Look up. Hold your breath. And don’t blink.
